Monday is for Mastery Week 1: M.O.R.N.I.N.G. Routine

  • Move- Exercise anywhere from 5 minutes to 1 hour, it all counts, just move.
  • Om- Meditate, anywhere from 1 minute to 20 minutes, concentrate on your breathing, every time you find your mind wandering, bring it back to your breathing.
  • Read- anywhere from 1 proverb to an entire chapter of the Bible, you need to set your mind straight for the day
  • Note- Write down what you learned. I am trying this on a 3×5 note card, write down the scripture that spoke to you most and why.
  • Intention- Flip the note card over and write down your top three intentions for the day. If you get nothing else done today, do these three things
  • Nurture- Write down one good thing about yourself every single day. You deserve to have someone saying good things about you
  • Gratitude- Thank God for whatever you can thank God for. Write it down, be grateful.

Habbakuk 2:2 NIV

Then the Lord replied:

“Write down the revelation
    and make it plain on tablets
    so that a herald[may run with it.

It’s important to write things down and make them plain for your brain to understand. Doing this first thing in the morning when your mind is fresh can really help you to see where your priorities are, you are being proactive rather than reactive.
